In March 2017, this product received a test report from the Korea Road Traffic Authority, an affiliate of the National Police Agency, in compliance with the revised Enforcement Rules of the Road Traffic Act and the National Police Agency’s “Pedestrian Signal Voice Guidance Device Standard Guidelines.”
Product Overview
Crosswalk Pedestrian Detector
The device helps prevent pedestrian accidents by broadcasting safety warnings to pedestrians, discouraging jaywalking from the crosswalk waiting area, and guiding safe crossing through voice prompts.

Red Signal
If a pedestrian enters the roadway during a red light, the system issues a voice signal: “It is dangerous. Please return to the sidewalk.”

Green Signal
When the signal turns green, the system provides a voice signal to guide safe crossing: “Look left and right, then cross.”

Flashing Signal
During a flashing signal, the system delivers a voice signal: “Please cross at the next signal.”
